Dr Mark Deist

Dr Mark Deist is a founding member of the Sandhurst Eye Centre, Johannesburg Excimer Laser Centre and more recently, the Laser Vision Laborotary.

He has a special interest in cornea refractive surgery which includes the following:
  • Laser (ILASIK) and non laser (Phakic implants) vision corrective surgery
  • Intralase enabled keratoplasty (advanced laser corneal transplantation)
  • Refractive cataract surgery using premium refractive, differactive and accomodating presbyopia correcting implants.
