Dr Phil Peirce

Dr Peirce is an Ophthalmic Surgeon who specialises in:

  • Micro-incision cataract surgery using monofocal and multifocal intraocular lenses.

He completed his specialisation in Ophthalmology at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1992.  He has been in private practice in the Sandton area since 1993.

He is a founder member of the South African Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons (SASOPS) and was the inaugural President of SASOPS.

Dr Peirce is a founder member of the Sandhurst Eye Centre.  He is a member of the Ophthalmological Society of South Africa.
